Ingredients

  • 8.8 oz ground pork (about 1/2 lb)

  • 8.8 oz ground beef (about 1/2 lb)

  • 1 yellow onion

  • 1 egg

  • 3.4 fl oz heavy cream (about 1/3 cup)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 0.5 tsp white pepper

  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice

Preparation

  1. Peel the yellow onion and chop half of it finely. Sauté it in butter and mix with the ground meat.

  2. Grate the remaining half of the onion and add it to the mixture, along with the egg, cream, salt, pepper, and ginger

  3. Wet your hands with water and roll the mixture into meatballs of your preferred size.

  4. Place the meatballs on a water-moistened plate and chill for 15-20 minutes – perfect for a quick snack or a cheerleading session for the kids!

  5. Once chilled, heat some butter in a pan and brown the meatballs in batches, ensuring they turn a nice, golden brown.
