I believe soccer should be for every kid—not just the ones whose parents can afford club fees. It’s a game that belongs on the streets, in the backyard, on any patch of ground. I’ve used my purse, water bottle, and even my shoes as goalposts—on asphalt, indoors, or out on the field.
