Ingredients
1/2 ground beef
1 small yellow onion (or 1/2 large)
1 egg
Preparation
1. Peel and finely chop the onion.Sauté it in a little butter until soft and fragrant. Let it cool slightly, then mix with the ground beef.
2. Crack in 1 egg and mix everything together with clean hands or a fork until well combined.
3. Add salt, pepper, and a pinch of Italian herb mix (optional but recommended for extra flavor).
4. Shape into small patties. Fry on medium heat in a skillet with a little oil or butter until golden and cooked through—about 3–4 minutes per side.
5. Serve warm with your favorite side: quinoa, pasta, salad, or even a veggie mash.
Tip: These patties freeze well and are perfect for your lunchbox.
